Stephen Glispey of Tulare county arrested for Pismo thefts

Pismo Police Department received a call regarding a vehicle burglary that occurred on Thursday morning, and after viewing surveillance video showing the suspect committing the act, police arrested Stephen Glispey, 29, of Ivanhoe, Calif. later that evening. Ivanhoe is in Tulare Couty near Visalia.

Glispey, according to Detective Sgt. Steve Weir, was charged with suspicion of felony burglary and possession of burglary tools. Detectives discovered Glispey was staying at a local Motel on Calle Joaquin and proceeded to search the room in which they located a purse that was linked to a different vehicle burglary that occurred earlier that day from the same location.

Glispey was booked in San Luis Obispo County Jail. His bail was set at $20.000, which he has since posted.
