Williams was arrested in Truckee after a traffic stop on Interstate 80 near Donner Lake. Williams, who is also wanted for murder in Florida, gave officers a false name. A search of his vehicle turned up more than 100 credit cards, prepaid cash cards, gift cards, altered debit cards, and some marijuana, police said.

A passenger in the car, 23-year-old Karion Bickham, was arrested on several fraud-related charges.

Police said that the two suspects were likely on a fraudulent shopping spree when they traveled through Truckee.
