Man fatally shot by woman in Bay Point home

BAY POINT – A 23-year old man was shot and killed on Oct. 1 after a domestic dispute.

Contra Costa Sheriff Deputies responded to a 911 call Saturday afternoon to a home located on the 500 block of Azores Circle where sheriff’s units arrived at 3:41 p.m.

Officers discovered the dead body of Lance Cussimonio in the home, where he was shot in the chest and killed by a single bullet. Officials say a women at the home shot the victim but her identity has not been released.

“The shooting occurred as a result of a domestic dispute but no arrest has been made,” said Contra Costa Sheriff Spokesperson Jimmy Lee.

Police officials are not releasing any detailed information about how the women is related or connected to the victim. The case is still under investigation and will be reviewed by the District Attorney next week, Lee said.

    Then the women that shot him and her daughter (the reason he got shot) showed up to the service to start drama with the family. She is a disrepectful and is still running free.

    Shelby, you are right on! I cannot believe all the things that are happening. She continues to run free and her daugter is flaunting what happened to her friends. The daughter caused a horrible death to Lance. I can’t believe the police are not looking at this more closely. There are plenty of people who know what happened. Hope they come see us soon.
