Two Paris Hilton stalkers cuffed and stuffed

LOS ANGELES – It was a bad week for two Paris Hilton stalkers who found themselves behind bars Friday afternoon.

James Rainford

The Los Angeles Times reports one of the  stalkers, James Rainford, being taken into custody Wednesday morning, after sneaking up behind Hilton and her boyfriend, Cy Waits, as they were going into court for the trial of another Hilton stalker, 31 year-old Nathan Lee Parada.

In video footage of the incident posted on E! Online, Rainford can be seen lurking to the side of the blonde hotel heiress and her BF as they made their way toward the courthouse while answering questions from surrounding media.

Sporting dark sunglasses and a white polo shirt, Rainford edges closer before executing a quick but awkward strike to the back of Waits’s head. Waits spins in reaction while a bodyguard quickly subdues the offending predator with a headlock.

“Who’s that?” one of the reporters then asks Hilton. “Oh my God! That’s another intruder who came to my house on a bike,” replies the visibly shaken Hilton.

Once inside the courthouse, the stalker Hilton had arrived in the first place, Parada, faced a jury for his alleged August 2010 attempt to break into Hilton’s home while armed with two large knives, according to Yahoo! News. Waits was inside with Hilton, however, and was able to hold Parada at gunpoint until police arrived.

Parada’s motivation  was to steal as much as possible so he could relocate to a deserted  island, according to Yahoo! and other sources. He was able to locate Hilton’s house using a map that identified the homes of stars and reportedly waited hours before attempting to break in.

“So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes,” Hilton tweeted following the occurrence.

The jury reportedly reached a verdict in under an hour, slapping Parada with a guilty verdict for the charge of felony first-degree attempted burglary. He will be sentenced in June and faces up to three years in state prison.

Meanwhile, Rainford absorbed a charge of misdemeanor battery on Thursday for his attack on Waits and was sentenced to 227 days in jail.
