Aaron Seits goes to trial for selling weed

Aaron Seits. 24, is a self-employed electrician who was arrested after his house caught fire and the firemen who came to put it out found marijuana plants growing inside.

When this was discovered the firemen called in the police, who then contacted the San Mateo County Narcotics Task Force.

The Narcotics Task Force agents found 1,298 immature and mature plants growing throughout the two story home. They also discovered 60 grams of packaged marijuana, cash, a loaded rifle and a loaded AK-47 with high-velocity ammunition magazines.

Seites is now faced with felony counts including possession of marijuana for sale, cultivation of marijuana and theft of utility service. He is also charged with two more felony counts that include illegal possession of an assault rifle and ammunition.

Seites is faced with seven years of prison and remains out of custody on a $175,00 bail bond. He is expected to return to the Hall of Justice on Feb.5 for his superior Court arraignment.

15-year-old suspect of two killings

15-old-boy, whose name could not be released do to his age, was arrested for the suspected killing of two men whose bodies were found on a Sacramento Street Friday night. As well as the two men who were killed there was another who was seriously injured on 3900 block of 73rd Street.

The two men who were killed we known as Isidro Rivas, 18, and Rigoberto Aguirre, 22, both who lived in Sacramento. The man who was injured on 73rd Street was shot in the neck and is the brother of the other victims. He is expected to live through the experience.

The teenager is being held without bail and is the sixth juvenile boy who has been arrested in connection with a Sacramento slaying this year. The name of the 15-year-old will be released if the court decides to try him as an adult.

The motive appears to have been gang related and happened during the heat of an argument between two gangs. The shootings created a calm that has blanketed the city for the first 10 days of 2008.

Sacramento man Arrested, linked to 16 burglaries

Sacramento- Felipe was arrested on suspicion of burglary of an estimated 16 businesses on January 3rd. 6 the six of the burglaries took place in the early morning of November 20 along Mack Road.

Felipe used rocks to bash in the window of the business he robed and then stole hundreds of dollars of cash and caused thousand of dollars in damages. He was caught because he left finger prints on the scene and was caught on video in the act of the robbery.

SLAYING AND RAPE SUSPECT IN COURT

OAKLAND- Police have been contacted by a couple of women who may of possibly been raped by a man who has already been accused of beating to death a woman who was found on an Oakland hiking trail.

The man who is accused is Kenneth Jovan Washington who is already in custody after been found living with his mother in Fairfield on Jan 4.

Washington has been charged with forcible rape and three other sexual assault charges in addition with the Dec. 24 rape of a 19-year-old woman in Oakland.

The women who were sexually assaulted are still being interviewed by the Police.

Washington is also accused of evading a police officer in Alameda County on August 2006.

Police want to hear from other victims of Washington and are asking anyone with information to call homicide Sgts. Lou Cruz or Caesar Basa at 510-238-3821.

FIVE ARRESTED IN DRUG CASE

STOCKTON - Five people were arrested on Tuesday under suspicion of drug trafficking after there homes were searched by Stockton police.

The homes searched contained 4 ounces of methamphetamine, 3 ounces of cocaine and $2,000 in cash.

The 4 homes were located in 700 block of Burkett Avenue, the 3000 block of Fairbury lane, the 4200 black of Eagle Crest Drive and the 1500 block of knickerbocker Drive at around 7:30.

The 5 people who were arrested were Laurencio Jacabo who is 36, Oliver Saede who is 57, Elias Sedano who is 36, Reyna Hinojosa who is 26, and a 17 year-old boy.

Police stated that the arrests and seizures were made due to the findings of an extensive investigation
